"Stand in the Sand" by Tricia Stansberry

I took these polaroids on a recent trip to Daytona Beach, Florida. I went to Florida with my family multiple times as a child and whenever I return, I feel that same youthful exuberance. It's always been such a happy, colorful, fun place for me. Florida has a lot of cheap, brightly colored motels that are so kitschy - they look like they haven't been touched since the 1960s. It's like stepping back into time. My vintage Polaroid Cool Cam is my favorite camera to use, and it makes every scene look special and nostalgic. Using this camera in a place where I have so many happy memories made the experience just all that more fun!  :)
