I’m Stella and I am a nineteen year old girl that is struggling with growing up. I was born in the States but have been living in Taiwan for the past decade, and will move to another country (still don’t know where) for the new semester. I love being creative with art, be it through photography (mostly film) or writing. I also love ballet, reading, and traveling. I am currently enjoying my gap year.
The work I have sent is a film series inspired by Jiang Xun’s Six Lectures on Solitude (蔣勳《孤獨六講》, Jiang Xun is a Taiwanese artist and writer).
*Ruan Ji was a poet and musician who lived in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. He was one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove.
