July is a month that is very near and dear to our hearts because two years ago this July two teen girls got together and discussed starting an online magazine, sparking the creation of Dissolving Film. We’ve both learned and changed a lot since that summer day almost two years ago, but Dissolving Film is still very meaningful to us and we cannot wait to see the ways in which we grow this next year!

It's thanks to people like you who continue to support us (whether that's been through being on our staff, submitting your work, or supporting the wonderful artists whose work we've published or highlighted) that we are able to keep Dissolving Film going. We really cannot thank each and every one of you enough for making Dissolving Film the inclusive platform for creative voices that we always envisioned it to be.

We hope that if you have ever thought about submitting before (or you are interested in submitting again) that this month you make it happen! We love seeing all of the incredible work that you create and want to help you share it with others. If you would like to submit your work revolving around music and/or art, pitch an idea, or have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us: dissolvingfilmmagazine@gmail.com!

Lots of love,
Zoë Bridgwater + Zoey Martinez (zb + zm)
