Editors' Letter

December is such an exciting time of year and is very dear to our hearts. This time of year is all about spending time with the people you love, whether that’s family or friends. We’d love to see any and all submissions revolving around how you like to spend your holidays because that is what makes each of us unique!

As always we’d also like to take a moment to express our gratitude for you all. While it’s nice to receive things from loved ones it’s also important to consider the things you already have that you are thankful for. When we think about what we’re thankful for, Dissolving Film and the people that support us (you!!!) are at the top of the list.

We would also like to give a humongous thank you to Rookie and everyone who worked on it over the years. Thank you for making such an incredible platform and safe community for teenagers (especially teenage girls) everywhere. Thank you for helping to make us feel like we belong and that we are not alone in the world.

We hope to hear/see from you this month!

December is an enjoyable month as it means the year is coming to a close but December is also a scary month as it means that things are going to be changing soon. This month we would love to see any medium of art or music submissions from you that convey that precipice of changing emotions/times (but of course we are always accepting any art and/or music submissions!) -- email us at dissolvingfilmmagazine@gmail.com!

Another month has passed and now it's time for the holidays! We hope everyone is enjoying this time of year as much as we are.

Thank you again so much to everyone who submitted last month--we encourage anyone to send in any submissions you may have, we'd love to see and publish them :)

School is very hectic this month so we apologize for the delay in posting the editors' letter and will respond to emails asap!
